Daniels & Fischer Tower located at 1601 Arapahoe St. is selling the top five floor for only the second time in the span of 115 years. Denver property managers announced that the price for each square feet is about $1,585.62.
The D&F tower was built in 1911 with a height of 393 feet and was the tallest building west of the Mississippi River back then. Daniels & Fischer tower is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is one of downtown Denver’s most recognized towers. The tower is renowned for its four lit clock faces, each clock is 16 feet in diameter. The tower can accommodate more than 100 residents and has a panoramic view of the city.
Realtors across Denver agree that the selling price for each square footage is probably the most expensive one Denver has seen. John Winslow, the principal of Winslow Consulting has been monitoring the Denver-area real estate market for decades and said that no sale has approached more than $1,600 per square foot until now.
The top five floor were acquired by Holly Kylberglast 2000, she paid $246.65 per square foot for the space. The price purchase price did not include the cost for renovations.
For the past years, the top five floors have been used to host events from weddings, birthday parties to board retreats.
