Rather, we use our buying power to get discounts of 10-50% from our Preferred Vendors… and pass that savings directly on to you. We don’t have hazy language in our contracts that allow us to mark up any invoice for any amount at our discretion.

About Ken Caryl, CO

Ken Caryl, or Ken-Caryl Ranch, Colorado, is a Census-Designated Place perched on the southwest corner of the Denver Metro Area west of Littleton. A thriving community of more than 33,000 residents, Ken Caryl is run by two governmental bodies: the Ken-Caryl Ranch Master Association and the Ken-Caryl Metropolitan District, the former providing property oversight, architectural standards, trash collection, and the Equestrian Center, and the latter managing recreational amenities such as swimming pools, a full-service Community Center, several lodges, and ten or so beautiful parks. Ken Caryl began in 1859 when Major Robert B. Bradford built the Bradford/Perley House Inn and a toll road leading to the gold mining camps on the South Platte, charging $1.50 per wagon. One of the series of owners, John Shaffer, owner of the Rocky Mountain News, bought the ranch in 1914 and named it Ken Caryl after his sons, Kent and Carroll. Johns-Manville company bought the ranch in 1971 and built what was to be a planned corporate campus and housing community. The corporate campus is now headquarters of Lockheed Martin, and the plans for the housing community became the idyllic neighborhoods of Ken Caryl Valley. None of this dented the community’s determination to preserve the beauty of the valley, dedicating 6000 acres in and around Ken Caryl to open space; what’s more, the valley is ringed on all sides by beautiful mountains and ridges including Tincup Mountain and Beacon Hill. Truly a slice of paradise.
